History of the school Our school was established in August, 1991. In the beginning, there were only 436 students Our present principal is Mr. Lin Mao-Shengwho has served the school since 2003. Our school lies in the east district of Tainan, which is near National Cheng-Kung University, the Cultural Center, and the municipal hospital; therefore it’s called a district that gathers arts and cultures.
Present condition of the school • The area of the school :4.29 hectares • The total number of students: There are 2650 students, who are divided into 74 classes, including bilingual classes, traditional Chinese music classes, orchestral classes, and special education classes. • Teachers and administrators : There are one principal,160 teachers, and14 administrators. The total number of the personnel in school amounts to 175 people. Present condition of the school
Present condition of the school • Our PTA chairman :Ms. Lin Chen Mei • The background of teachers : • The average of teachers’ ages is 36 years old. About 82% of teachers are Bachelors, and most of them graduated from Normal universities . • About 18% of teachers are Doctors and Masters.

We won the Nation-wide Teenager Science and Technology Competition “school team” championship from 2003 to 2005, and 2007 Tainan City Science Exhibition We won the Tainan City Science Exhibition championship from 2004 to 2006. Nation-Wide Science Exhibition We won the second place of “The Physics and Chemistry Works” in 2005. We won the third place of “The Physics and Chemistry Works ” in 2006.
