So Simple and Easy To Use • The GRE revised General Test is the prescribed examination used to measure the following subject knowledge: • Verbal Reasoning • Quantitative Reasoning • Critical Thinking • Analytical Writing Skills
GRE Coaching HYDERABAD The above curricula in GRE bear no relation to any field of study and training. It tests the student's skills that has been under development over a long time. The questions and features of the GRE examination reflects on the thought pattern of the student taking the test. So also it examines the skillfulness of the students, which is essential to be successful in graduate and B schools.
GRE Coaching HYDERABAD • Educational Testing Board (ETS), publishes the GRE Test Course ware. It offers a complete overview of each section in the exam. This in turn immensely helps a student to prepare for the test day perfectly. The main aim of the ETS publishers in redesigning GRE is given below:
GRE PREP • Understanding what is being tested • Gaining acquaintance with several questions and similar types • Reviewing innumerable strategies in test-taking • Get familiar with the type of calculator being given on the day of the GRE examination • Reviewing scored Analytical Writing essay responses and reader commentary • Understand scoring pattern • Practice taking the test-taking If you are a student planning to take the computer-based GRE examination, please log onto www.ets.org/gre/prepare for all test prep material.
GRE Test Structure • The paper-based GRE examination consists of two sections in Analytical Writing, another two in Verbal Reasoning and two more in Quantitative Reasoning sections. The examination is spread over approximately, 3 hours and 30 minutes. At the beginning of each section the directions specify the total number of questions in the section, including the time allowed for each section. The Analytical Writing sections are always presented first.
Things to know before GRE test prep • Test preparation time depends on the acumen and preferences of the students. In normal circumstances it is two months. It can be extended to 45 days or three months as well. The other things a student must know before test-taking GRE examination is the admission process, administrative procedures, type of questions, directions, number of questions and amount of time for answering each section. • The administrative procedure is inclusive of registration for GRE test: scheduling an appointment date, time and test center location. It also includes cost, procedures for reporting the score along with the availability of special test arrangements for the physically handicapped applicants and test-takers. For information on administrative procedures, please log onto www.ets.org/gre/general
GRE Examination Strategies In Analytical Writing the study and training tasks are on a wide range of subjects: • Fine Arts • Humanities • Social sciences • Physical Sciences However, no specific content knowledge is required for each of the tasks given above. The only requisite is how a student understood the task and how easily they respond to it in the given time for a correct answer to the questions. It also expects complex thinking and persuasive writing as the benchmark for a successful GRE score for studying and coaching in international graduate schools and colleges. You can also view the website: www.ets.org/gre/awtopics
Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning • There are several formats in the verbal and quant reasoning questions. Some are single answer choices and others include one or more answers. A test-taker must be sure which answer choice is correct by understanding the response required for the question. You can also exercise freedom to skip the difficult questions and later answer them within the allotted time in the section. The scores will be given according to the number of questions selected and the right answers provided. There is no negative marks for wrong ones.
Score Reporting • A six-point holistic scale determines the scores from two readers for the essay who measure Analytical Writing. The scoring is based on the overall quality of the essay for which the readers are trained to assign individual scores. An average of the final point on the two essays is rounded of to the nearest half-point interval on the 0-6 scale. More information is available on the website: www.ets.org/gre/scoreguides.
Score Reporting • The readers of the answers in GRE examination do not look at the “right answers”. In fact, they are making an evaluation of your skill, which results in your addressing of the specific instructions and justify your argument. • In critical thinking and persuasive writing to analyze an issue is a task. The main purpose here is how well a compelling argument is developed to support it. The most successful response explores the complex nature of the claim and follows the specific task instructions. The following questions may be helpful to analyze and prepare for the issue task:
Score Reporting • What is the precise central issue? • What are the precise instructions asking me to do so? • Do I agree with any part of the claim or with all? • If it is so, are they reasonable ones? • Is the claim valid under certain conditions only? Then, what are they? • Is there a need to give reasons on how I interpret for a certain concept or task that is used in the claim? • If I take a stand on the issue, what are the reasons that justify my doing it? • What are the real or hypothetical examples, I could use to illustrate those reasons and advance my point of review? • Which are the most compelling answers?
Score Reporting • After all this reasoning write a meaningful response with clarity to communicate those ideas to the readers. Finally, when it is measured on the scoring scale it will help in seeing how and where to make an improvement. • Keywords: GRE Coaching in Hyderabad, Best GRE Coaching in Hyderabad, GRE Institutes in Hyderabad, GRE Classes in Hyderabad, GRE Hyderabad
