  2. What is it? • A new school-wide behavior plan • Classroom behavior, uniform, etc. • Similar to Harry Potter and the four sorting houses • Like sororities and fraternities • A great and fun way to unite our school

Continued… • Blue: “Ohana”: Lilo and Stitch: Hula girl/Wave • Symbolizes Family and love • Green: “Bare Necessities”: Jungle Book: Chest movement • Symbolizes Courage and bravery • Orange: “HakunahMatata”: Lion King: Lion roar • Symbolizes strength and leadership • Purple: “To Infinity and Beyond”: Toy Story: To the stars • Symbolizes friendship and loyalty

  4. Pictures of our houses • Will be displayed in the bathrooms

  5. What’s Next? • 1. Teachers and Students randomly selected a bracelet from the sorting hat • 2. Marbles of each color was chosen • 3. 4 jars that represent the houses are displayed in each classroom • 4. Each time a student follows a Ron Clark or Conscious Discipline rule they will receive a marble • 5. All marbles will be Emptied into the office jars each Friday • 6. Monthly celebrations and meetings will be planned for the winning house • 7. Have fun with it! 

  6. House meetings • Come dressed on the last Friday of the month (Dress Down Days) in your house colors. Students must still pay $2 to participate. • House Meetings and Celebrations are from 1to 2 p.m. on those dates August 29 September 26 October 31 (May wear Storybook Costume) November 21 December 12 January 30 February 27 March 13 April 24 May 29
