HELLO FROM TÜRKİYE. Now I am going to tell you the story of my school from which I also was graduated a long time ago. Before it turned into a beatiful swan there was a school called Maltepe Highschool . It was opened in 1962 as secondary school in Maltepe.

  1. HELLO FROM TÜRKİYE Now I amgoingtotellyouthestory of myschoolfromwhich I alsowasgraduated a long time ago.

  2. Before it turnedinto a beatifulswantherewas a schoolcalled Maltepe Highschool. Itwasopened in 1962 as secondaryschool in Maltepe.

  3. Then in 2007 E.C.A.Foundationrebuiltthewholeschoolagain.And of coursethe name alsochangedto E.C.A.ElginkanAnatolianhighschool.

  4. Aftertheconstructionwasfinished ,thenewschoolwith a new name called E.C.A.ElginkanAnatolianHighschoolopeneditsdoorstothenewcommerswho had topass a difficultexamtocometothesetype of schools.

  5. He is ourdirector Selami Aksakal and he has beenthedirectorforover 14 yearsnow in thisschool.

  6. Hıdır Koşar is theviceprincipal of theschoolforoverthen 14 years ,too.

  7. You can seetheblock A fromthispicture.Theschool is verybigand has 3 blocksorparts .

  8. This is thefrontpartwhereallthestudentscometogetherbeforetheygo inside.

  9. This is thegarden of theschoolwherestudents can usetherebreaks.

Wehavegotnearly 900 studentsand 50 teachers in E.C.A.ElginkanAnatolianHighschool.Thereare 14 differentlaboratoriesand 40 classes,onedinning-room,twocanteens,a smallconferencehalland a littleplacewherestudents can playtabletennisand do sportiveactivities.Westilldon’thave a gymnasium but in thefollowingyears it is goingto be built.

  17. Wesometimeshaveactivitiessuch as thismusicactivity in theconferencehall.Thelady in themiddle is ourMusicteacherandthelady on theleft is her teacher.

  19. This is one of thecanteenswherebothstudentsandteachers can have fastfood typefoodiftheydon’twanttoeatlunch in thediningroom.

  20. This is theboy’sbasketballteam.

  21. This is thegirlsvolleyballteam.

  22. Wedon’thave a swimmingpool at school but wehaveswimmingteam.

  23. Girls basket team.

  24. Wehavealso a schoolband.

Every 19.May studentshave a mise-en-scane as Atatürk firstvisited Samsun on the 19th.of May 1919 and he wenttherewith a shipcalled Bandırma.AndthiswasthedatewhentheTurkishpeoplestartedtofightfortheirfreedom.Andevery May on the 19th therearefeastsfortheyouthallaroun Türkiye tocelebrateSportiveactivitiesandrememberourLeaderATATÜRk
