Soundbytes "So, what was good? The technical level was definitely deeper and more rooted in experience. I have to say that this was probably the best Ruby conference I've been to, based on the depth and level of the presentations." - Ola Bini "Pretty much all of the presentations and demos throughout the three days were outstanding. A few blew my mind. ...Overall, it was a great three days, and we met a lot of people doing some amazing things with Rails. It’s clear that it’s the strength of the community that makes Rails special." - Brian Eng

BUT... (Why is there always a "but"?)
...Registration costs $825 (per person), BUT... ...we get 25% off with proof of full time academic employment status, BUT... ...That's only if you register before March 16th, BUT......Registration usually fills within a week or two, AND......Registration began this past weekend (JAN24)!
Other Details: • RailsConf starts on March 4, and goes until March 7th. • The first day is all "tutorials"; topics include testing, sphinx (full-text searching), jQuery (which we include but don't use as much as we could), and newer technologies. • RailsConf is hosted in Las Vegas, NV this year. • "Birds of a Feather" sessions provide face to face exposure to those interested in the same projects and concepts. This stuff is important!
