Setting- The Bahamas This story takes place in The Bahamas. The Bahamas is an island nation located in the Atlantic Ocean, north of Cuba.
Conflict The conflict in the book The 39 Clues: Storm Warning is that a character in the story, Nellie, is a traitor. Much of the story is focused around actions about Nellie’s deceitful and treacherous behavior. The main characters in the story Amy and Dan spent most of their time trying to defeat Nellie.
Prediction At one point in the story the main characters, Dan and Amy, find themselves in desperate situation in a cave on an island. I did not think they would get out alive. My prediction was wrong. Amy and Dan use their clever problem solving techniques in order to save themselves.
