ELEVATE: The Career Advancement Academy Undergraduate Requirements • 12 earned credit hours • 2.5 GPA • Must complete within 10 semesters Graduate Requirements • 6 earned credit hours • 3.0 GPA • Must complete within three semesters 2018 “Closing the Gap” award from the ADHE Students receive milestone rewards. Milestone include: • M1-self-assessment • M2-resume and cover letter • M3-two mock interviews • M4-career action plan • M5-attend two career fairs • M6-experiential learning opportunity Each milestone has a reflection assignment.

Canvas • Create Modules in Canvas • Interactive modules on various career topics to help students progress through the career development process. • Enable Canvas-ready career modules to plug into academic courses • Items to include in Module: • Video • Quiz • Assignment • Support Documents • Examples: • University of South Florida • Indiana University

  8. First Year Experience • College of Arts & Sciences • (18) sections | 1,200 students • First Year Career Engagement Plan • Included: • Career Action Plan • Career Research Activity • First Year Checklist • Goal: Scale to all other schools

  15. Enrollment Management – Focus 2 • Incoming Freshmen complete the Focus 2 • Train Academic Advisor’s to articulate results to advisees • Goal: Decrease the number of undeclared/exploratory students
