CP/AP Government Economics Choose classes to meet your career goals Must be enrolled in 4 classes per term (unless on track to meet a-g requirements) Be sure to sign up for classes that you need to MAKE UP!!! Course Selection Sheet READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Write in your 8 course selections (required) Write in 4 elective alternates (required) Write in Make-Up classes or important information under Comments/Notes Go ONLINE (Homelink) and enter your course selections before the deadline of 11:59 PM Wednesday, 2/19 Counselors will be meeting with all students individually in February and March to review course requests and make any needed changes.
Fill in: Courses already completed Courses currently in-progress Courses planned for next year through graduation Make-Up Classes – write out the CLASS TITLE and QUARTER you need to make up It is important for you to completely fill out your Four-Year Planner Be sure to check off the Graduation and UC a-g requirements you’ve satisfied already! 4-Year Planner
Things To Consider… AP CLASSES are rigorous and require extra time for studying and homework. Consider all your time commitments (i.e. sports, extra-curricular activities, employment) when choosing the number of AP courses you plan to take. Alternates are required and should be chosen carefully as they may be placed in your schedule. If there are no alternates selected, counselors will place you in ANY available class. 11

Registration Materials Collection and Review Thurs., February 20th- turn in two things (during 2nd period) Completed/Signed Course Selection Sheet & 4-Yr Plan Completed Emergency Card with NEXT YEAR’S Grade Level Counselors will meet with students one-on-one beginning February 20th to review transcript, Course Selection Sheet, and make any needed changes or corrections. If you have questions, see a counselor in the Cafeteria during lunch starting Wednesday, February 12th through Wednesday, February 19th. 13
SummerBlended-Learning Program RHS expects you to enroll and attend summer Credit Recovery if you did not pass a required class. Applications will be available during counselor meetings in February and March. Summer classes will be a “blend” of online and on-site meetings with teachers.
Dates to Remember… Wed., Feb. 12th – Wed., Feb. 19th: Counselors in Cafeteria at lunch to answer questions. Wednesday, Feb. 19th (11:59pm): Deadline for course selections to be completed online. Thursday, February 20th: Turn in completed Course Selection Sheet / 4-Year Planner Emergency Card February 20th – March: One-on-one meetings with counselors to review course planning. 15
