  5. Meet the Examiners Roy Burrows’ B1 session will be repeated. Date: Friday, 13th Feb Time: 7:30pm Venue: Convention Centre, Sunshine Campus,Victoria University Ballarat Rd, Sunshine Cost: $10, no need to book.

  6. Conference News Please hand in your Evaluation Sheet at the end of the Conference. It gives valuable feedback to the presenters and organisers.

  7. Conference News Want to find out who is teaching in your neighbouring schools? Then check the Conference participant list (Excel file sorted by postcode) on our vicphysics.org website. The list will be updated with the Detailed Studies selections after the conference.

  8. Support for Schools doing the “Synchrotron” The AIP Education Committee is purchasing a number of copies of the award winning CD-ROM “Exploring matter with Synchrotron Light” produced ESRF. The AIP will loan copies to Pilot Schools this year, and make them available to a number of schools next year. If interested for this year, contact Dan O’Keeffe at danok@bigpond.com

  15. Physics Youth Lectures • A series of 3 lectures for regional students. • Last year’s lecturer Dr Lloyd Hollenberg will demonstrate The Physics of the Didgeridoo at Sale later this year. This year’s lecturer and venues are to be determined.
