  2. Background & Methodology • Initiated by HKCSI in May 2002 • 23 project members participated in the study • 11 brainstorming meetings, a questionnaire survey and a study visit to Guangzhou

  3. The Core Idea “Hong Kong should position itself to become the services metropolis of the Pearl River Delta region”

  4. Outcome of the Study • A blueprint with long-term vision towards Hong Kong/PRD integration in the next 15-20 years. • A comprehensive view of the key issues across three levels of analysis, from strategic, systemic to market dynamic issues. • A set of 80 recommendations.
