  4. Multiplexing at MAC layer (3) • Multiplexing done by MAC protocol in RNC • Problem area: Not in-line with the MAC model • Overhead dependant on the impact to MAC structures, like MAC header • 3 Tranport channels A cmd B C TC Iu MAC RNC MUX Iub BTS CRC
