  8. Upper Level Forecast Chart(Image is Moisture) Tonight Tonight: Northwest flow aloft relaxing. Otherwise… QUIET with strong temperature inversions.

  9. Upper Level Forecast Chart(Image is Moisture) Tuesday Tuesday: Warmer, especially in the east! Flow aloft will turn more westerly with high cirrus clouds moving in. An hour or two of critical fire weather in the central highlands.

  11. Upper Level Forecast Chart(Image is Moisture) Wednesday Weak, Fast-Moving Disturbances Wednesday: Flow aloft turns back to the northwest with some weak, fast-moving disturbances. Very minimal precip chances in northern mountains. Weak cold front entering eastern plains will set temperature back below normal there.

  12. Upper Level Forecast Chart(Image is Moisture) Thursday Thursday: Trough of low pressure aloft begins to take shape. Potential for increasing rain and high elevation snow showers, especially in central to western NM.

  13. Upper Level Forecast Chart(Image is Moisture) Friday Friday: Trough of low pressure continues to migrate eastward with some remnant spotty showers over NM. Temperatures will be cooler (near to slightly below average).

  14. Upper Level Forecast Chart(Image is Moisture) Weekend Outlook Saturday Sunday Weekend: Northwest flow is expected to be dry on Saturday, but another upstream disturbance may bring some stray showers to NM by Sunday.

  15. Week at Glance Tuesday Stronger breezes, will produce locally critical fire weather conditions in the central highlands and east central high plains (Clines Corners to Santa Rosa). Warmer temperatures, particularly in eastern plains. WednesdayA weak cold front will slide into the eastern plains of NM, dropping temperatures slightly below normal. Thursday- FridaySome slight chances for precipitation Thursday and Friday as a disturbance aloft approaches NM. Confidence in widespread wetting precipitation is low.
