Reading • What do you know about the • food pyramid? There are four main food groups. Bread, cereals, rice and macaroni are in the first group. They give us B vitamins and starch. We need four servings a day from this food group. Fruit and vegetables are in the second group. They give us vitamins A and C. Fruit also give us sugar which does not harm us like the one in candy. Milk, butter, cream, cheese and yoghurt are in the third group.
