  6. What is EqualityandDiversity? • Equalityanddiversity, ormulticulturalism, is the idea of promotingandacceptingthedifferencesbetweenpeople. Therefore, at schoolwetrytoensurethateverybody is treatedfairlyandequally no mattertheirrace, gender, age ,disability, religionorsocio-economicstatus. • Consideringdiversity, wepromoteandrespectthesedifferencestocreate an all-inclusiveatmosphere. • Interms of solidarity, weestablishsympathybetweenourteachersandstudents.

Ourthemesaremulticultural. • SocialStatus: Theycomefromdifferentsocio-economicstatus. • Culture : Theycomefromdifferentculturalbackgrounds. • Ageandetc.: Ourstudentsareagedfrom 14 to 18.

  8. Brunches&lunches@ ACAL Everyyearwewelcomeour nine graders-newcomers- byorganisinglunchesorbruncheswhicharespecialandunforgetableforthem. Theygettogetherandchat. Throughtheseoccasionsthey can socializeandmakefriends.

  9. Schooltrips @ ACAL Duringtheschoolyearwe organize schooltripstomuseums, universities, culturalcitesandsummerresorts. Teensliketravellingandlearningnewthings . Bythehelp of tripstheydeveloprespectandsolidarity as a largegroup. Everystudent can jointhesetrips.

  10. Sportsevents @ ACAL Sporteventsandcompetitionsarealsoanotherwaytoestablishsolidarity at ourschool. Ourschoolteamsconsist of studentsfromdifferentgrades . Afterschooltheycometogetherandtrain a lot. As a result, weusuallywinandgetmedals. At theend , weareproud of ourplayersandtheyareabletoattaintheirgoals.

  11. Annualgraduation @ ACAL At theend of theschoolyearwecelebratetwelfthgrades’ graduationwithgreatjoy. Theirfamiliesarealsoinvitedtotheceremony. This is sharinghappinessandachievement.

  12. Nationaldays&Celebrations@ ACAL InTurkeynationaldayslikeYouthDay, VictoryDayandRepublicDayarereallyimportantfor us. Inaddition, we organize “Lokma” Dayeveryyear in May. On thesedayswedance , singsongsandenjoy.
