  7. Your work context • The current Alph Watershed Development Plan (AWDP) runs out in 2013. • Climate change adaptation options should be integrated into the new AWDP 2014-2018. • Thus, the Alph River Commission commissioned a group of climate experts with an in-depth analysis on Climate Change impacts and the identification of options for climate change adaptation. • Sustainable forest management and forest ecosystem goods and services are recognized as important aspects for climate change adaptation.

  8. Your task • You are member of an advisory group to the Alph River Commission to support the integration of climate change adaptation in the development of the AWDP. • The ARC has decided to focus the revision of the AWDP on two key areas: • Climate resilient and increased agricultural production • Safe drinking water supply

  10. Guidance for effective group work • Select a facilitator, a time keeper and a presenter per working group. • Take your time to read through the task description and see if everybody is on board. • The working groups work independently. • Trainers can be asked for advice. • If not explained differently, matrixes should be worked through in grid lines (not columns) • The main learning objective is to learn about the systematic approach and not to be comprehensive in the task
