Ascension Health Events Around the Nation • From July to September 2009: • Health Ministries are planning, or have executed and/or participated in, 42 events around the nation • 24 eventsare being planned or were executed as 100% Campaign signature events, led by Health Ministry leaders around the nation • 10 eventsraise our positive voice through our participation in forums and on panels and high-level roundtables • Policymakers and Health Ministry leaders will engage in eight high-level policy meetings over the course of the August recess
Leaders’ Obligations • Continue the momentum: Maintain focus on “Outside the Beltway” health reform discussion • Lead a Signature Event • Attend/participate in a health reform discussion • Use the media as a resource to promote substantive discussion on health reform • System Office is available to assist
