  3. Objectives 1. Become introduced to the scientific foundations and the resources that are pertinent to the field of Knowledge Translation aka Implementation Science. 2. Acquire a practical framework for applying KT science in the creation of an evidence implementation project. 3. Gain practical experience in developing such a plan using a current and robust clinical practice guideline in emergency pediatrics.

Agenda • 3:00 – 3:10: Orientation and overview (Lang) • 3:10 – 3:20: The Knowledge to Action Cycle (Graham) • 3:20 – 3:30: Barriers and facilitators of implementation (Dayan) • Small group break-outs • 3:30 – 4:00: Developing an evidence implementation plan around the IDSA sinusitis guideline • 4:00 – 4:30: Rapportage by KTA cycle components.
