Auckland Zoo 1.Fun places in Auckland Zoo are the ASB elephant clearing, Aussie walkabout, hippo river, the rain forest, kidzone pridelands, te wau nui, tiger territory, primate trail and the tropics. 2.The current female Asian elephant at the zoo,Burma, arrived in 1990,with the elephant clearing exhibit. 3.Auckland Zoo was opened on the 17th December 1922. 4.In 2007 677,522 tourists visited Auckland Zoo. 5.There are 750 and counting animals in Auckland Zoo.

Pukeko • Pukekos have an orange beak going up to its forehead. • The scientific name is Porphyrio Melanotus. • Pukekos live in groups called broods. • Despite being clumsy flyers pukekos are good swimmers.
All Blacks • 1.The All Blacks are also known as New Zealand's rugby union team and their emblem is the silver fern. • 2.The All Blacks first international was against Australia they beat them 22-3. • 3. The largest win was on the 4th July 1995 against Japan 145-17. • 4.The All Blacks do a dance called the haka they first appeared on the 6th of November 2006 against France.
