2. Care The purpose of a Care Ministry Team is to answer the core question: How do we care for each other and for our community? Answering this question should give rise to ministries that include but are not limited to: care and life or relational ministry, pastoral care, hospitality and fellowship.

20. The Resource Ministry team is the “team behind the team”. Our job is to assure that the many ministries of Calvary can occur seamlessly. This requires respectful oversight of the gifts that have been given as well as careful caretaking of the resources we have. Like the Holy Spirit, our presence can’t always be seen, but it is an integral part of the kingdom ministry here at Calvary.

21. Calvary Resource Team Members John 14: 25 ‘I have said these things to you while I am still with you. 26But the Advocate,the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you.

Parking Lot Improvement • Paved part of the rear lot that was filled with free gravel in 2011; seeded the rest • Paved the approach on Peaceful Meadows • Paved the approach near Washington Ave • Sealed the old pavement • Restriped the entire driveway; added directional arrows; 4 handicapped spots front and back • Will add directional signage as soon as fundraising covers the cost

23. Facility Improvements • New Kitchen Ceiling • Fresh paint in the kitchen • New double door freezer for CA meals in the pantry • Updated room 2 to a sitting room • Had 2 message boards built for each entrance to better inform everyone of Calvary and Community events

July 2 Storm Update • Damage to some ceiling tiles, roofing, one window, shed roofs and gymnasium floor • Shed roofs will be replace this fall - partnership with boy scouts (we buy supplies – they furnish labor • Gymnasium floor will be patched and refinished this fall • Two trees and an old sign were lost • Insurance covered the losses well

Vision for 2013 • Technology upgrade • Staff computers, server and software • Wireless upgrade for staff and guests • Visioning the Sanctuary remodel • Hand sink for kitchen • New signage for Preschool & Worship services • Finalize parking lot signage • New front entry doors & exit door in sanctuary that meets safety standards and are more weather proof
