Gersing) • Tissue oedemais caused by changing of • liquid amount/balance. • Types of oedema: cellular, extracellular, and combined. • The cellular oedema(ischaemic) • occurs through an intracellular hyperosmolarity or through • an extracellular hypotonicity as a result of • occlusion of the blood inflow (arterial supply) (Fig.1).
