  1. Finding Glucose!

  2. Your first step 1. Hop into your cab of sun and take a trip to Chloroplast County.

  3. Chloroplast County • You will search for thykaloids here that are found in stacks called grana’s. • You will need these thykaloids to capture the energy from your cab to move into the Water Ways.

  4. Water Ways • Here you will find a plant and pull it up to find how water is absorbed by the roots and conducted throughout the plant. • Next you will move to Carbon Dioxide Canada.

  5. Carbon Dioxide Canada • Here you will enter a lab and breath out and see your carbon dioxide that will be a main source in your journey. • Then drive on to Pigment Play land where you will be absorbed by the pigments.

  6. Pigment Play land • Here you will need to find 2 types of chlorophyll which are A and B. • You will then need to see how they are arranged in their photosystems and the different wavelengths that go into them. • Next move onto the Wavelength Rainbow.

  7. Wavelength Rainbow • Here you will find useful and not useful colors for pigments. • You will need red and blue but don’t worry about the green because its useless. • Now go into Molecule Mania

  8. Molecule Mania • Here you will find how molecules will function by transferring hydrogen and electrons • You will also need to search for ATP here. • Next move to Light Reaction Paradise.

  9. Light Reaction Paradise • You will watch as you are transformed into chemical energy and carried by ATP and NADPH into Calvin Cycle Central. • It might take a couple times before your transferred though

  10. Calvin Cycle Central • You will now see how Six molecules of Carbon dioxide each combine with a 6 molecules of a 5-carbon sugar to form 3-carbon molecules. • The ATP and NADPH that carried you are now going to convert the 3 molecule into a 2 molecule to produce the main treasure Glucose.

  11. Glucose • Now that you have found have the glucose is made you have won and Your award is some sugars!
