DEVELOPMENT IN DIGITAL AND POST-TRANSITION ERA: ONLINE PRIVACY CONCERN APPROACH

This research paper explores the increasing importance of online privacy and its connection with development in post-transition countries. Analyzing data from Croatia, FYR Macedonia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the study identifies significant factors influencing online privacy concern. The findings suggest that online privacy concern is influenced by factors such as country of origin, education level, and age. The study also highlights the potential impact of technological advancements on economic development. Overall, the research emphasizes the importance of education, institutional frameworks, and trust-building policies in addressing online privacy concerns.
