  12. Benefits • The need for reproduced documentation is reduced because of access by the Tablet PCs to the master documentation library. Also, field modified documents are controlled and maintained by the system. • Reporting is made more efficient due to the fact that the system compiles data for reports from multiple data sources dynamically rather than personnel gathering data and formatting reports manually. • Punchlist items as well as package discrepancies can be submitted from the field and associated to individual packages in real time. • Custom checklists may be added to the system to target and track specific tasks related to engineering, construction and commissioning. • Provides a pre-determined protocol for submitting, reviewing, and approving information documented during construction and commissioning as well as controlling access privileges to perform these activities.
