Process Overview • User submits on-line Trip Registration form including: • origin and destination addresses (partial address logic) • contact information • EM e-mail address required but private until used to contact other users • telephone numbers / SMS optional • schedule • additional descriptive information • desired user id (uniqueness check) and password • e-mail (is validated and verified using confirmation code and link) • User is shown match list with user-adjustable search controls • User contacts matched commuters via e-mail, telephone or SMS • Commuting mode survey permits reporting and analysis
