  3. Piye • Piye, Taharka’s father, was the king of Napata and first conquered Kemet. • Piye was also nubian.

  5. Taharka • Taharka rebuilt the of Kawa, which is the center of Nubian kings. Taharka also built a great number of other sites in kemet.

  7. Taharka • Attacks in the past on Kemet, but were defeated by Taharka. After loosing this last battle Taharka moved south to nubia.

  8. Taharka • Taharka tried several time to defeat the Assyrians , but all failed. Esarhoddon died…

  9. Taharka • and Assurbanipal took his place as king. and Assurbanipal defeated Taharka again.Taharka then went south again…

  10. Taharka's Death • Taharka died in nubia, and made Tantamani, the son of Shabaka king in his place. Taharka was buried in El-Kuru.

  14. More… • King Ashurbanipal (668-627 B.C.) of Syria continued Esarhoddons work and again took Egypt defeating the Pharaoh Taharka’s army.  Taharka however again escaped the invasion…
