The Story of an Hour Plot: Mrs. Millard died of heart disease when she the terrible news of her husband's death in a train accident is passed on to her. Conflicts: Louise is confused of being immoral if she feels happy after received the news of her husband’s death. However, Her husband loves her—his face had never looked save with love upon her and He has never really done anything cruel to her except treat her like a woman.
Ironic: the most ironic message passed by this story is not its plot but the person who are reading the story. Why? We always make a conclusion too quickly without thinking of inner nature. So We easily finish a famous story written by a famous feminism writer but still use the thoughts of chauvinism to explain this story.
