Health Facilities Authority Orange County has created five Conduit Finance Authorities: • Orange County Educational Facilities Authority • Orange County Industrial Development Authority • Orange County Health Facilities Authority • Orange County Housing Finance Authority • Orange County Research and Development Authority

  3. Health Facilities Authority • County: • Approves TEFRA • Limited approval under Tax Code: • Simply acknowledging project and the public hearing • Appoints board • Not County debt

Health Facilities Authority • Five-member volunteer Board appointed by County • Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. serves as Authority Counsel • Public Financial Management serves as Authority Financial Advisor • OCHFA is a legal entity seeking to facilitate low cost financing of health related projects • No staff • No budget • No assets
