Agenda Description of the current portal The most important points of the development under project Measure 2.2.2 of Social Renewal OP
The partnership • The site was created by a 22 member consortium in the frame of the EU-supported Phare project. • Definitive role: Csongrad and Bacs-Kiskun Labour Centres. • Other significant partners: • regional training centres of Békéscsaba and Kecskemét, • self-governments and pedagogical institutions of Békés, Csongrád and Bács-Kiskun counties, • University of Szeged, • chambers of commerce and industry, the chambers of agriculture.
The target groups • youngsters before choosing a career, • adults before career modification, • parents, • teachers, • the experts dealing with career guidance and orientation.
Main functions and content • information on qualifications, • information on occupations, • information on training opportunities, • information on the Hungarian labor-market, • counselling functions (questionnaires), • job-ads, • actual news.
Qualifications and occupations(vocational and higher education) Step 3: detailed description of the chosen qualification Step 2: list of the qualifications (with type and id) Step 1: search options (name, level, sector etc.)
Information on qualifications • name, • ID, • connected occupation(s), • similar qualifications/occupations, • level, • necessary school-degree, • sector, • maximal time of training (hours or years), • responsible ministry, • connected qualifications (modular connections).
Information on occupations • name, • ID, • short description (few sentences), • connected qualification (vocational and/or higher education), • basic labor-market statistics (data of PES): • average wage, • number of unemployeds (in the concerned occupation), • number of published job-vacancies, • short term labor-market prognosis. • health conditions, • video files and/or downloadable documents.
Information on training opportunities • The aim of the system was to include all the secondary and higher education opportunities of South-Hungary. • In the second step all Hungarian training opportunities were to be integrated. • Presently these data are not updated, in the new system that is to be developed in TÁMOP 2.2.2 our aim is to include (and continously update): • all secondary and higher education oppurtunities of Hungary, • adult education opportunities, • other (not so strictly regulated) tranings. • The new system is to be developed in close cooperation with the organisations that are collecting these kinds of data.

Counselling functions • Online questionnaires about: • interest, • skills, • values, • learning efficiency. • Online chat/counselling + discussion board.

Basics • The base of the new LLG portal is to be developed in 2009. • Additional contents and functions may be added in 2010. • The portal is to be developed with the support of the TAMOP programme. • The new portal is to be developed by using the best practices of the existing international systems (Choices Online). • The total costs of the development is appx. 180M HUF (0,6M EUR).
Aims • To create a sophisticated and up-to-date system that is able to efficiently help all target groups of Lifelong Guidance. • To create a system that is able to integrate and (in a user-friendly way) publish the education and labormarket-related data and information that are collected by different (official) organisations in Hungary. • To help and multiplicate the work of the counsellor-network that is to be started with 50 counsellors nation-wide. • To cover the education and partly the labor-market section of the Virtual Labor Market (VLM) that is to be developed in Hungary.
Contents • Detailed description of all Hungarian qualifications and occupations (with videos, downloadable documents etc). • Detailed descripton of Hungarian training opportunities (secondary schools, higher education, vocational education, other trainings). • Labor-market information/statistics. • Counselling functions (for example online questionnaires) that can help youngsters and adults to get know their strengths, interersts, possible career-ways etc. • Education and labor-market related news, frequenlty asked questions, discussion boards etc.
