BODY • Optional beneficial certifications: . Auto-Cad & Matlab . Auto-Cad ( a product of Auto-desk), helps to enhance designing skills. . Matlab ( a product of Math-Works), helps to enhance programming and mathematical skills. . Auto-Cad Electrical ( Helps to enhance productivity levels of electrical drafting tools.) . Matlab fundamentals ( Helps engineers to design different data types using variables, improves mathematical skills as well).
BODY • Licensure required When and why: . All engineers have to pass two tests before getting licensure for working. . Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), announced discovery of more than 1000 fake certificates. . Graduates will be tested on basis of these tests. . Check on to official SCE website for further details.
BODY • Institutions Involved . Now that my friend talked about the software and its benefits I am going to talk about the institute that offer the courses about MAT-LAB and Auto-Cad. . With the increased number of college graduates in Saudi Arabia the job market has become very competitive. . In order to cope with the modern challenges a fresh graduate has to increase his/her skills in their field. . As an engineer having a skill to work with AutoCAD and MAT-LAB will give an advantage over other applicants. . So there are three institutions involved with this certification , the employer (who require skills in both MAT-LAB and Auto-CAD), The organization providing the course and the university that makes you eligible to apply for these courses.
BODY • CAD Centre .The first organization is CAD Centre It Asia’s largest CAD training and has 30 years of training experience. . It offers courses in computer aided design, project management and computer aided engineering. . All courses are provided with certificate that is widely accepted in the job market. . CAD centre has proved its excellency in the following areas, educate students to take their job more seriously and keep updated with latest technology available in the market. . CAD centre is accredited and work together with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in India. . Since we are Electrical Engineering we are interested in AutoCAD Electrical course which help engineers to do their work in a fast and efficient way.
BODY • Math-Works . It the second organization Math-Works that offer a course about MAT-LAB which is a leading organization in computing software that provide help for engineering mathematics. . It has more than 34 years in software developing and training. . Scientists and engineers have used MAT-LAB produced by Math-Works in many different fields which have contribute in making our life easier. . One big advantage about this course is that it is offered by the company that developed the software. . Math-Works offer courses of MAT-LAB for all level starting from beginners up to advance. . Because we are beginners and in need for MAT-LAB in our career the course that we are interested in is MatlabFundamentals. . In Saudi Arabia, the job market offers better job opportunity with higher salary for engineers who are skilled using MAT-LAB.
BODY • Requirements For the certificates . Both courses provide international certificates therefore an applicant for these courses needs to have an undergraduate level of English. . An applicant needs to have an engineering background and electrical terminology. . Both courses require the knowledge of knowing the basics of the software. . To use MAT-LAB an applicant needs to have extend knowledge in Algebra and Calculus. . MAT-LAB also require the applicant to know the basics in computer. Both course do not require work experience however an applicant is required to at least have an under-graduate degree in engineering. . Since it is a software course there is no character requirement, however the nature of engineering job include teamwork so an engineering student needs get used to working in team and increase their leadership skills during their time in college.
