Other ethics initiatives Research participant education brochure and FAQs (released December 2018) Material incidental findings guidance (May 2019) CORE – new version underway Cell line advisory subcommittee reconstituted and back at work Responded to over 200 interpretation requests in last 12 months

  5. RCR Initiatives 6th World Conference on Research Integrity (June 2019) Another batch of file summaries (summer 2019) 3 more years’ worth 70 more files of confirmed breaches Interpretations RCR Forum – teleconference every quarter

  6. Outreach and support Types of outreach include: 11  presentations by SRCR staff across the country in last 12 months (on ethics and RCR) RCR Forum sub-committees (information-sharing and education) Clarifying education and training grants process in response to increased requests for funding Confidential telephone advice to researchers, REBs, all those involved in the RCR process
