CPT Score: 103/180 • Feedback gathered from multiple sources • This was a workforce development grant, not an education grant • All about preparing students for jobs • High school graduate, certificate, 2-year degree • high demand, high wage • Employers deeply engaged and committed 7
S4C Recommended Approach • Continue strategic direction toward pathways • Tailor our next CPT application to score higher • Strengthen employer commitment • Clarify county labor market structure (82% of employment in firms <10 employees) • 3 industry-driven, K-14 pathways • Countywide leveraged student services and work-based learning • Detailed, site-level activities and budgets 8
