  3. Holy, Holy, Holy. A passage from the Gospel according to Saint Luke (4:38-41), may his blessings be upon us all. Amen.

  4. Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. So He bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them. When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them. Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, ‘‘You are the Son of God!'' But He rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew He was the Christ.

  12. Coolest Thing Ever! The Resurrection!! Jesus rose Himself from the dead!

  13. Why did Jesus raise from the dead? • To prove something? • To seem really cool to His disciples? • To be freed from death?

  14. Why did Jesus raise from the dead? • He rose because by His resurrection, we also can have the ability to rise. We can rise from a mistake, we can rise from a bad feeling, we can rise from any traps that we fall into

  15. What does it mean? What does it mean to bless? It means to tell God how we see Him as the Holiest of the Holiest

  16. What does it mean? What does it mean to serve? It means to show God we love Him by doing what makes His heart smile

  17. What does it mean? What does it mean to worship? It means to ask God to come inside of us and truly be our Lord. We want Him to be the One we ask help from when we are in trouble, the One we run to when we have good news, the One who gives us all that we need.
