  2. DNA collection • DNA collection is when the police or any other organization create a database with profiles on people (mostly criminals). Profiles contain DNA samples of the people. • Using the appropriate equipment DNA is scanned and then compared with that of the profiles that are in the database.

Video surveillance • Video surveillance is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific area in order to surveil a specific place. • Police and Government organizations use video surveillance in order to surveil crimes that happen in a specific area and to catch criminals in the scene of the crime
