B=bay Sometimes called bay grande
Ch=chay No longer a separate letter, but used in the song.
LL=ay-yay No longer a separate letter, but used in the song.
V=bay Sometimes called bay-chica
Why are there extra letters? • The English alphabet has 26 letters whereas the Spanish alphabet has 30. The four extra letters are: • CH • LL • Ñ • RR • **Some letters can be confusing because they sound different in the Spanish alphabet. • E • I • H • Q • LL • V • RR
