There is More Time to PlayWhen we Keep the Germs Away When to Wash Your Hands • Before and After entering the classroom • After using the restroom • After cleaning and disinfecting work spaces • Before and after lunch time and snack time • After sneezing, coughing, blowing your nose, vomiting, and/or handling blood Cleaning and Disinfecting • Clean small toys and objects frequently in 1 quarter cup of bleach to every one gallon of water • Disinfect sleeping areas, gates, seats, desks, counter tops and other classroom furniture with Lysol Disinfecting Wipes • Please keep your work space clean and disinfect your work area 2 times a week Handle Food with Care • Wash hands before eating • Keep foods in right temperature so they do not spoil • Please do not share food and/or drinks • Clean your lunch area and put lunch items away Guidelines to a Healthier and Happier Classroom • Wash hands with warm/hot water for 30-45 seconds • Use our classroom hand dryer to dry hands (please do not use your clothing item to dry hands) • Tissues are offered to you for you to help keep germs from traveling; please use them if you are sneezing or coughing • If you are have a fever or flu like symptoms please stay home to get better. You will be missed, but we understand • Clean your desk and work area 2 times a week with Lysol disinfecting wipes • Help keep our classroom and learning spaces as germ free as we can by wiping down after using and no snacking at any place other then the lunch room • Keep lunch boxes in the right storage area • Please do not share food or drinks. This spreads germs faster then shaking hands • Clean up after yourself
