Precipitation • 2014 Water Year Precipitation was below normal at 19.69 inches (April 2013-March 2014) • Calendar Year Totals Shown Above
Resource Status • Water use was only 58% of the aquifer “safe yield” of 2,681 acre-feet per year • Targeted average consumption of 89 gallons per person per day • Actual average usage was 74 gallons per-day-per-person in 2013!
Recommended Conservation Level • Per capita demand remains low, conservation programs continue to be successful, and groundwater supplies are in good health, all despite below normal precipitation. • 2014 Conservation Level • Level I water use are therefore recommended • to remain in affect for the 2014-2015 water year.
