End Of Life (EOL): Notice to discontinue, typically in 3 months. Does not mean end of manufacturing. Customer should actively start transition to follow-on product. Last Build: No more manufactured and no additional orders accepted. Discontinued: No more manufactured and no additional orders accepted. : Orderable prior to anticipated availability. these roadmaps must be read with the following understanding Lines BEGIN at the approximate date of product introduction. This is a “best case” situation which can easily be pushed to a later date. This does not necessarily mean inventory is available in our distribution channels. Do NOT promise delivery on these dates based on these roadmaps alone.

  12. key lifecycle changes - options • 72G 10K NHP (332751-B21) disk drive has been reactivated • Launch scheduled for Jan ‘04 • 40g ATA (230534-B21) Disk Drive discontinue date extended until Dec ‘06 • SA5312/128 (238633-B21) has now discontinued • SA5302/128 (283552-B21) discontinue date pushed out to Mar ‘04 Hard Drives Controller/Enclosure

  13. key lifecycle changes - options • 512 Reg PC 2100 DL140 (351108-B21) has been added to RAS introducing in Dec ’03 • 1Gb Reg PC 2100 DL140 (351109-B21) has been added to RAS introducing in Dec ‘03 • Next Generation KVM Switch is now available • Rack-mounted analog KVM Switch • Non-IP Capable • Compatible with current pre-merger Compaq KVM Switch products • Utilize existing KVM products: • KVM UTP CAT5e cables (3, 6, 12, 20 and 40 feet). • KVM Cnsl Expansion Mod. • KVM PS/2 Cnsl Intf Adptr (8 pack or single pack). • Will become a universal KVM product for all HP server platforms. • TFT7210R Flat Panel Monitor will be available in Jan ’04 • Replacement for the 15” • Occupies the same amount of space as 15” • Comparable in price to the 15” memory racks and rack options

  14. key lifecycle changes - options • The following products have discontinued • 9136 Extension Kit (218216-B21) • 9136 Short Rear Door (218218-B21) • Kit, OPT, BLNK PNL XU (189453-XXX) • Side Panel 36U (120671-B21) • Stabilizer 9000 800MM (234493-B21) • T/R Conv ML350 G3 (290683-B21) discontinue date is being pulled in to Oct ’03 • Due to a change in the SKU strategy for switch boxes, the following product’s life cycle have been adjusted: • 1x2P KVM SW HI Res (120206-XXX), the discontinuation date has been pulled in to Feb ‘04 • 1X4P KVM SW 1U/HI Res (400336-XXX), the discontinuation date has been extended to Apr ‘04 • KVM Cable 12ft, 3ft. & 7ft (110936-B21, B24 & B25), the discontinuation date has been extended Apr ‘04 • Rack Adapter 24” Round to 19”Sq (332815-B21) - will be available in Oct ‘03 • Allows the customer to convert a 24" threaded hole rack to a 19" rack width rack with square holes (7000, 9000 or 10000 Series Rack). racks and rack options (cont.)
