3. MED Division Highlights2004-2005 • Current Statistics – Majority of MED members are academics. However, there is a balance of executives and students. • MED has a growing number of international members. The international membership experienced a 13% increase this year over last years figures. • Of the overall increase in MED members for 2004/2005, 48% was due to growth from international members.

MED Division Highlights2004-2005 • MED members are active researchers and teaching scholars: • Publishing books, journal articles in the Academy journals, and serving on the editorial boards of the Academy and other journals. • MED Division has received the following awards from the Academy Board of Governors: • Strategy Development Award (Elena Antonacopoulou) • Teaching Award – Boot Camp (Regina Bento) • Diversity Award (Regina Bento and Carolyn Wiley) • Enterprise Award – Global Forum (Carolyn Wiley, Katherine Karl, James Spee) • GEMs (MED’s Global Experts and Mentors) – 2006 PDW • Reflections on Global Issues in MED – 2006 PDW
