What is LMIwise? • A user-friendly website introducing regional labor market supply and demand data. • A step-by-step guide to assist academic program planners in interpreting labor market information • A link to other data sources helping planners gain a comprehensive view of the labor market. • A web tool designed by staff from MnSCU Academic Programs, ISEEK and Department of Employment & Economic Development.

  3. How does it work? • Academic Program classification codes (CIPs) are linked to one or more job codes (SOCs). These relationships are called “Occupation Program Sets”

  4. What information will I receive? Demand Data: SOC Code 13-2011 Accountants and Auditors

  5. Supply Data: CIP codes 43.0117, 52.0301, 52.0304, 52.0305, 52.0601

  6. Trend Graphs

  7. You may download a Data Interpretation Guide that includes the supply and demand data from your search. Included in the guide are questions for consideration and tips about how to better understand the data.

  8. As a convenience, LMIwise offers links to additional data sources. Use of other sources is necessary in order for planners to develop a comprehensive understanding of the findings.
