  2. TERMS Frequency  number of times that something happens **The key here is that frequency is always about the NUMBER of times Frequency table  a table that shows the frequencies of items

  3. EXAMPLE 1 A number cube was rolled 20 times. The results were: Make a frequency table of this data.

  5. LINE PLOT To make a line plot: • Draw a number line that includes all the values (in example 1 this was 1,2,3,4,5,6) 2. Place an “X” above each number to indicate the number of times it occurs.
