ABOUT • Zak's Commercial and Zak's Building are now using screw piles for both commercial and residential buildings • This reduces the time required to set a foundation before construction begins or before we bring in one of our beautiful RTMs • Screw piles are foundation structures that act like footings that can handle the weight of even large multi-storey commercial buildings

  5. EFFICIENCY Screw Piles are quicker and easier to install than traditional concrete footings or foundations. This lower costs and less downtime waiting for foundations to be poured and inspected.

  6. FLEXIBILITY • There's no limit to where Screw Piles can be used. • They are installed below the frost line and can be installed in any condition, except for frost.

  7. SUSTAINABILITY Screw Piles can be removed, moved and reused. Unlike traditional dug-in basements, Screw Piles are minimally damaging to the landscape and can be removed cleanly and reused if the building is demolished.

  8. UTILITY Sturdy and resistant to frost and water damage, Screw Piles provide excellent building foundations in the long term, even through building expansion or additions.
