  6. How Silverlight Works • When button is clicked, Silverlight object raises event to browser’s Javascript Engine

Xaml • XML is very broad (from it you can create VoiceXML, XHTML, etc.) • Microsoft created a limited XML geared towards application markup. • Used in Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) found in .NET 3.0 / Vista • Used in Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) found in .NET 3.0 / Vista • Used in Silverlight • However, Xaml for WPF, WWF & Silverlight differ!
