  3. 참고사항 누설 동축 케이블(LCX : Leaky Coaxial Cable) 동축 케이블의 외부 도체에 일정한 간격으로 슬롯(홈)을 만들어 미약한 전파를 발생시키게 한 케이블. 열차 전화, 터널 내의 자동차 전화 서포트 등 서비스 영역이 선형으로 되어 있는 이동 통신의 안테나로 이용된다. 우리나라가 처음 전선 용어를 들어올 때는 일본 산업 표준(JIS)를 많이 인용했다. 일반적으로 저압 전력 케이블에 사용하는 0.6/1kV CV 케이블(XLPE 절연, PVC 피복 케이블)의 "CV"라는 용어도 "Cross-linked(XLPE) polyethylene insulation polyvinyl chloride(PVC) sheathed cable"의 약호로, "V" 약호는 polyvinyl chloride 의 앞머리 글자를 사용하고 있지 않다 이는 "Polyvinyl chloride(PVC)" 재질은 "V"로 "Polyethylene(PE)" 재질은 "E"로 표기하고 있기 때문이다. 마찬가지로 ECX(Polyethylene insulated caxial cable) 케이블은 "Polyethylene" 재질의 절연체를 사용하고 있기 때문에 "E"라는 영문자가 들어가는 것임 보통 ECX를 "Polyethylene insulated coaxial cable" 또는 "Radio-frequency coaxial cables"라 명기하고 있으며, 한국산업규격(KS C 3610) 및 일본산업규격(JIS C 3501) 모두 ECX(고주파 동축 케이블)의 영문 명칭을 "Radio-frequency coaxial cables"라 하고 있음 다만 충실형이라는 용어를 굳이 사용한다면, "Extruded(충실 압출) polyethylene insulation Coaxial cable"라는 용어를 사용될 수 있다.
