Spooky Reader’s Chair Each student will present a poem or a passage from a short story/novel written by an American author. Passages should be autumn-y, Halloween-y, or spooky in some way.
The Guidelines: • You may not select anything we've read in class (or will in the future). • You may select authors included in our textbook, but you are not limited to those authors. • Your presentation of the passage must be between 1 and 2 minutes long. • You must provide a written discussion of the significance of the passage (and work as a whole), the importance of the writer, and why you selected the piece.
