  2. How did the Beatles meet each other and form as a band?

  3. The Beatles were in a band formed by John Lennon in high school. In the band John Lennon and Paul McCartney were in it. They had very few gigs. In 1959 the Quarry Men broke up because of college.

  4. They formed a new band called the Silver Beatles. Their firstdrummer was Pete best, son of a club owner. They were discovered by Bran Epstein and he signed them up for Decca Records and failed in their first audition. Then he signed them up with parlophone Records and they became famous.

  5. Pete Best got replaced by Ringo Starr. Their first single was Love Me dowhich came out on October 5, 1962. In 1963 Bealemania began in America in 1963 and they brought rock and roll back to America too in 1964.

  6. How did the Beatles come up with their band name?

  7. New members of the group joined, so they needed a new band name. John Lennon took charge and decided to go along with insect names, inspired by “ Buddy Holly and the Crickets.” They thought up a few names, “The Beetles” came up, and everyone liked it.

  8. The band decided on “The Beetles”, but wanted to make it unique. They changed it to “The Silver Beatles” to include the word ‘beat’ because they were a beat group and it had to do with music.

  9. “The Beatles” was the name the band finally kept. It took changing the name five times since the band first started to get the name they’re now known for.

  11. The Beatles were the first band in Liverpool to make there own music , and perform it live.

  12. The Beatles were also the first band in Britain to go off the charts in Europe and America and to travel a tour.

  13. The Beatles were the first band in Europe to get their music across seas and all over the world.

  14. Why did The Beatles break up the group?

  15. The Beatles disbanded in 1970 when Paul McCartney left the band because of “personal, business, and musical differences.”

  16. When they broke up there was a ironic tone to it. Throughout their whole time as a band Paul McCartney was the only one in the band to never threaten to leave the band.

  17. Even though the main reason they broke up was because of Paul McCartney they had all agreed that they were getting older and wanted to pursue their own journeys.
