  3. Criteria Ans. At least two years of many hypomanic and hypo-depressive* episodes. Can’t be part of another disorder, especially cannot have had full blown manic or depressive episodes. *neologism, but you get the idea.

  5. Gender Ans. About equal.

  6. Prevalence Q. Lifetime prevalence?

  7. Prevalence Ans. 0.4 to 1.0%

  8. Onset Q. Most common age of onset?

  9. Onset Ans. Late teens or early 20s.
