Implementation Arrangements Sustainable Development Council
Sustainable Development Council • As per the Act, Sustainable Development Council has the coordination, facilitation and reporting roles on Sustainable Development Goals. • Development of National Policy and strategy on SD is in progress. • Mainstreaming process of SDGs into national, provincial planning is ongoing. • First VNR presented. • Development of Digital Platform in progress • – accessible and updated data

Process of developing NEP • First draft in collaboration with SLEVA with small group discussions • Consultation of first draft with public officials at national and provincial level • Discussion of second draft with academia, donors, NGOs, private sector and experts • Discussion of 3rd draft with Secretaries at national and provincial level • Public consultation of 4th draft • Approval of Cabinet of Ministers – July 2018 NEP contains purpose, principles, policy goals, scope and implementation responsibilities
Coverage and applicability of the National Evaluation Policy National and sub national level, relevant line ministries and implementing agencies
