CPCC- Levine Campus Matthews Station Founded in 1896, Wingate University seeks to partner with Central Piedmont Community College to help the community put its educational goals within reach. Coming January 2006, students can get a bachelor’s degree from Wingate while on the CPCC-Levine Campus and/or from our current Matthews Station.
Partnership with CPCC • Seamless co-enrollment between universities • Accessibility of Levine campus • Interesting upper level courses taught in small classrooms • Highly cost-effective way to earn college degree • The Levine Campus programs are utilizing a majority of the facility space at peak times; however, there are times that space is available for additional classes. Wingate is partnering to maximize the space during these available times.
Benefits of partnership • Many CPCC Levine Campus students are interested in transferring to a four-year university • Additional upper-level course teaching opportunities • More class time with matriculated students • Shared resources • Mutual prestige of institutions
