SPECIAL adaptations • Insects have adapted to communicate in different ways, most hexapoda have antennas that they use to sense movement and communicate with other Hexapoda • Other insects, such as beetles, that do not have antennas have adapted to communicate by flapping and rubbing their wings together. • A lot of insects have developed wings which help to avoid predators and discover new habitats. • Insect larva eat different food then adult insects, because they need different nutrients to mature.

  5. Locomotion • All hexapoda have 3 pairs of jointed legs that carry them around,

  6. Habitat • Insects are found virtually everywhere in the world except marine areas, some have even been known to live in freshwater regions.
