A Very Long Walk. Lost dog crosses the USA. One evening Becky is taking her dog, Rocky, for a walk. Suddenly, Rocky sees a cat. He g r ow ls . . The cat runs off . . Rocky races after him . The cat and the dog disappear around a corner . . Becky runs after them. “Rocky! Come back! ”.

  1. A Very Long Walk Lost dog crosses the USA

  2. One evening Becky is taking her dog, Rocky, for a walk. Suddenly, Rocky sees a cat.

  3. He growls.

  4. The cat runs off. Rocky races after him.

  5. The cat and the dog disappear around a corner. Becky runs after them. “Rocky! Come back!”

  6. But Rocky has four legs. And Becky has two. She can’t catch the little black dog.

  7. Becky turns the corner. The road is empty before her.

  8. There is no dog and no cat. Rocky has disappeared.

  9. Becky spends hours looking for Rocky.ngfor Rocky.

  10. Becky goes home - but Rocky is not there.

  11. That night Becky does not sleep very wellf.oo

  12. The next morning Becky puts up posters But nobody calls

  13. A week passes without news of Rocky. Becky feels very sad.

  14. But she never gives up hope of finding him.
